About EV Indonesia 2024

The Indonesian government is aggressively encouraging the national automotive industry to develop electric vehicles. This initiative stems from the future trend of vehicles moving towards energy conservation and environmental friendliness. Next year, the government plans to subsidize the purchase of electric vehicles, with the aim of reaching 2.5 million EV users by 2025 and reducing air pollution by 29% by 2030.

By 2035, the Indonesian Ministry of Industry aims to produce one million four-wheeled vehicles or more and 3.22 million two-wheeled vehicles. This commitment from the government is geared toward reducing carbon emissions and achieving the Net Zero Emission target by 2060.

EV Indonesia 2024 is returning for its 3rd edition on a bigger scale. The exhibition will be co-located with INAPA 2024, ASEAN’s largest trade show for the automotive industry. The show will take place from May 15th to 17th, 2024, at Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran, Jakarta, Indonesia. EV Indonesia 2024 will once again provide an opportunity to showcase the latest trends and technologies for electric vehicle manufacturing solutions, including batteries, electric power trains, components, IT systems, materials, equipment, and services.
